ISO 14001:2015

HCB is a Company which is responsible towards the Environment and its natural surroundings.

The Social Responsibility actions and the Integral Management Plan developed by the Hospital Clínica Benidorm management over the last few years have been taken a step further: the need for an Environmental Quality Policy.

These days, organizations like us must comply with a greater number of environmental demands imposed by the Administration, the clients and society in general. It is therefore essential that HCB should work to develop tools which allow it to integrate the centre’s global activities with the Environment.

That is why we have obtained the certification for environmental quality standard ISO 14001:2015.

The implantation of an Environmental Management System in accordance with standard UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015 has given us a simple way of systematizing the environmental aspects arising in each of the activities carried out in our organization and encourage environmental protection and pollution prevention from a point of view of equilibrium with the socio-economical aspects.

Specifically, at HCB the following environmental aspects derived from the health care activities in all our centres are evaluated.

  • Evaluation of environmental aspects and emergencies
  • Acoustic pollution
  • Power and water consumption
  • Consumables
  • Emissions
  • Spillages
  • Generation of dangerous, sanitary and urban waste.
