The Nursing Department of the Benidorm Clinic Hospital is composed of nursing professionals highly committed to the basic principles of their profession:
to take attentive and diligent care of our patients and anyone who needs or requests our services.

Hospital users’ greater demand for a better health service has implied new responsibilities for nursing teams.
Diverse factors such as Intensive Care Units, integrated cancer treatment and specific attention to certain age groups have contributed to the development of new activities that are broader or more specialised that those that were carried out in the past.

The nursing department of the Benidorm Clinic Hospital has evolved with the development of the nursing profession. Its professionals have specialised and trained in accordance with current demands.
Our teams are formed by:

- Certified nurses
- Certified physiotherapists
- Qualified technicians in image diagnostics
- Qualified laboratory technicians
- Nursing aides
- Attendants

These are multidisciplinary teams in which each member is important for correct operation and achieving the objective implied by planning and carrying out nursing care.
Its general components are found in this definition of the nursing profession:

"The nursing practice implies the execution of any action for the observation, care and assessment of the disabled or sick person, the maintenance of health or the prevention of diseases in other persons, the supervision and teaching of other individuals, or for the administration of medicines and treatments prescribed by doctors. All these functions require substantial specialised judgment and experience based on the knowledge and application of the principles of the biological, physical and social sciences.

This does not include diagnoses (understood as medical diagnoses) or the prescription of therapeutic or corrective measures".
